Fit and Graceful: 7 Inspirational Quotes to Keep Seniors Moving

I am adding more inspirational clips to my fitover67 youtube channel. They are illustrated with my own backyard workouts and various outdoor activities in Fort Collins area in northern Colorado. The music is from Epidemic Sounds (if you are interested they offer 30-day free trial, cancel anytime). No typical gym pictures since I don’t go to a gym.

  1. Mix it up! Doing the same exercise every day can get boring. Try different workouts, classes, or sports to keep things interesting.
  2. Age is just a number. It’s never too late to start taking care of your body.
  3. The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen.
  4. Fitness is not about being better than someone else. It’s about being better than you used to be.
  5. Obstacles make me stronger.
  6. You will have ups and downs in your fitness journey, but the key is keep trying and stay positive. With time, you may find that you have developed a love for fitness and the benefits it provides to your physical and mental health.
  7. You don’t stop training because you are getting old! You are getting old because you stop training.

My goal is to inspire and motivate you to practice active and healthy lifestyle. I am thinking mostly about people over 60, so my age, but the earlier you start the better. I don’t really feel like a senior. Perhaps, an aging athlete would be a better description.
