I started to exercise with Persian meels last year after working with lighter Indian clubs for about a year. It became my favorite workout. I am doing this almost every day learning new drills and trying to achieve “meditation in movement.” I am still using 2 and 3 lb Indian clubs, but mostly when rebounding on a mini trampoline.
Currently, I am using 7 lb meels from Revolution Clubs, but I may be ready for something heavier soon. They have 6, 7 and 8 lb Persian meels and a line of Indian clubs.
I am also swinging adjustable Pahlavandle TG 70 mudgar (Karlakattai or heavy Indian club) from Heroic Sports – 12 lb filled with sand.

The first volume covers fundamentals, and the second one more advanced variations. You can find both volumes on amazon in print and digital versions.
