Fitness over 60 or 70?
As I set out to revive my old blog devoted to fitness paddling and racing, I found myself faced with an unexpected realization — I am actually closer to 70 than I am to 60. It was a bit of a bummer at first, but then I thought, why not embrace the goal of staying fit over 70? After all, it’s a remarkable achievement in itself. But as I pondered further, I realized that 67 holds a special significance — it’s not only my current age but also a typical retirement age for many people. So, let’s stay fit over 67!
I am not an athlete or coach. I just enjoy variety of outdoor activities or being in nature, especially, with a camera. Since young age I’ve been involved in paddling, sailing, hiking, running and biking. For the last 20 years I’ve been doing some long distance paddling races more like a finisher than competitor.
In recent years, however, my focus has shifted. Rather than solely concentrating on rigorous training and paddling, I’ve embraced a holistic approach to health and well-being. My journey has led me to explore the realms of healthy living and biohacking, seeking ways to optimize my physical and mental performance.
I would like to share some of my experiences and challenges. Maybe, I will inspire somebody. At the same time this writing will help me to stay motivated.
I am photographer and visual artist, so you can expect here a lot of pictures and video clips, and also some motivational photo illustrations.
YouTube channel
In addition to this blog, I am excited to announce the launch of my YouTube channel, FitOver67, which will serve as a complementary platform to showcase my adventures and insights. I invite you to join me there as well, where we can explore the world of fitness and wellness together in a dynamic and interactive way.
This web site is obviously under construction. I will be working on more content and then on look and functionalities.
