Stay Fit over 60 – Fitness Self Portrait Project

I shot more than 150 self portraits in my home studio this year. They are mostly about fitness and self care, but also facial expressions and other lifestyle concepts. I shot them against gray or white background, but some pictures have added background in postprocessing.

It is more a personal project, sort of self exploration, but I am adding selected images to my stock photography portfolio. There are available for licensing as royalty free images on adobe stock, and other agencies.

I posted a slideshow of around 50 images related to fitness on my Youtube fitover67 channel. I believe that some portraits are pretty good, while some other are more like concepts or work in progress. Please tell me what do you think. If you like the video please find that like button.

I started that channel 9 or 10 years, but I just removed all old video clips of rather poor quality. I am starting from scratch.

Shooting self portraits is an adventure, much more involving than simple selfies. I’ve learned a lot working on this project, self acceptance and self awareness including. Composition in a tight space of my home studio with strange, often heavy, objects may be quite challenging. And, there is also motivation to improve your appearance and posing.
